Video: Dominican Girl in Korea Goes Bungee Jumping

(Lol @ the title. Sorry, I had to Kim)

The Dominican girl in question is actually a college friend of mine that decided to to teach English to the Hello Kitty-like school children of South Korea. She recently decided to go bungee jumping, which led to the recording of this rather funny video. Hope you didn’t catch a nosebleed!

Yeah site went down again for a hot second. But I’m back. Contemplating switching over to Tumblr. I mean we all need a change sometimes right?

I didn’t watch the Grammy’s. Sorry it slipped my mind this year. I know. Sad for a music head. I did watch the “Forever” performance on Nah Right. Nice sneakers Weezy. As I was going through my reader, I caught this on Boy Genius Report. Brilliant marketing/branding strategy.

An iconic company that has positioned itself as the leader in tech products for the non-conformist, liberal arts crowd places it’s latest revolutionary product (or seemingly revolutionary) in the hands of a national icon for the liberal, non-conservative think tank on a nationally (and now virally) broadcasted award show. This is great. The timing was perfect and the choice of representative was great. No music artists or Hollywood celebs. Someone “neutral” (lol), who speaks to the aforementioned audience.

Dope Student Project: Capeman ’59 Trailer

Capeman ’59 Trailer #1 from Eric K on Vimeo.

And it’s not only dope because my sibling wrote and directed it. It’s genuinely well put together. Interestingly enough the project is based on real-life gang member Salvador Agron, who coincidentally took college courses at my alumni.

This video is a bit old, but I recently stumbled upon it on the Don blog. They usually present their video lookbooks with that stop-and-go style. Looks cool. Nice cardigans.

Clash of the Titans Remake!

Really excited about this. I was a big fan of the original.

Notice some del Toro-styled monsters in this. The same team that worked on this needs to get that God of War movie out ASAP.

It’s That Time of the Year Again…

…for the most obvious rap video to get posted around the blogosphere. Lol. But in all seriousness this song/video is a classic. It’s a Queens thing. Maybe Rek and I will do a remake. Ha.

Planet Hulk: The Animated Movie

This is actually a bit old (the trailer that is). It’s scheduled to be released in February 2010, and a screening in NYC in January. Looks dope. I own the Hulk Vs. DVD and it was pretty good for a Marvel animated feature.

Norrin Radd In The Flesh

This dropped the other day. I was too busy blogging about my high school’s alumni to post it. I was also busy with the GOODIES blog. Didn’t really care much for the ending, being as how self-reflective endings seem to be the in thing. I don’t blame the director though. You usually get self-reflective after getting trashed. At first I wasn’t much into Cudi’s music (we’re talking June ’08), but since then dude has made me a fan of his stoner-friendly music. Man on The Moon reminded me of the Silver Surfer–the story of a transplanted drifter constantly wandering and yearning for a sense of happiness and belonging. I’m not sure if that’s what he intended to do, or if anyone else feels likewise, but that’s my interpretation.
